Anan Khalaili has broken his silence following the collapse of his high-profile transfer to Inter Milan, revealing he has returned to full training at Union Saint-Gilloise after the Italian club's inability to secure sporting clearance derailed the €25 million deal. The Israeli winger, who arrived in Milan for medical examinations, saw the move crumble when CONI refused to grant him eligibility to play in Serie A.
Speaking from the Belgian club's training camp, the 20-year-old right winger expressed confidence in his fitness and readiness for future challenges. "I've gone back to training at full pace and I feel good, healthy, in perfect shape," Khalaili stated, emphasizing his commitment to performing at the highest level. He highlighted an impressive workload over the previous two seasons, noting his exceptional consistency. "I have played 99 matches in the last two years and I have almost always played for 90 minutes. I feel very good," he added, signalling that his performances remain unaffected by the transfer disappointment.
