Our Data Sources
Match data, standings and fixtures are sourced from licensed sports data providers; match events, lineups and detailed statistics from API-Football; video highlights from Highlightly. Data is updated via automated background jobs every 10 minutes. Historical data goes back several seasons, giving our models a solid foundation for predictions.
All predictions are generated algorithmically — no human bias. The Poisson model we use is a well-established approach in sports analytics, used by academics and professional analysts worldwide.

Sources & Verification
All match data, fixtures and standings are sourced from licensed data providers (API-Football, Highlightly). Statistical predictions are calculated from documented Poisson methodology — see below. We do not republish copyrighted content without attribution.

VARiM uses AI-assisted drafting for news articles. Articles are AI-drafted from structured match and event data (scores, goals, cards, lineups) sourced via licensed providers. Our Prediction Methodology
VARiM predictions are calculated using the Poisson distribution, a well-established statistical model for football match outcomes:
P(k goals) = (λ^k × e^-λ) / k!
Here λ (lambda) is each team\'s expected goals — calculated from average goals scored and conceded over the last 10 matches, adjusted by home advantage and opponent strength. We sum probabilities for every possible scoreline to estimate the chance of home win, draw, away win, BTTS and Over/Under 2.5 goals.
Predictions are generated algorithmically and updated every 10 minutes. We do not incorporate team news (injuries, suspensions, weather) — our model is purely statistical, derived from historical performance.
