Joao Felix, the Portuguese playmaker at Al-Nassr, has been linked with a potential move to rival Saudi club Al-Hilal in the coming transfer window. Felix joined Al-Nassr in summer 2025 from Chelsea and won the Roshn League title with the club last season, also earning the league's best player award.
The speculation centres on Felix's contract situation. His current deal expires in June, with a free transfer period opening from January 2027 onwards. Former Al-Hilal chief executive Tarek Al-Tuwaijri discussed the prospect on a Saudi broadcast, saying: "I hope first and foremost that Felix does not leave the Roshn League, and if Al-Hilal can sign him, that would be good, and the same applies to Al-Ittihad and Al-Ahli." He offered no confirmation of active interest, but the exchange suggested uncertainty around whether Al-Nassr will renew Felix's contract.
Felix has delivered strong performances at Al-Nassr, appearing in 60 matches across domestic and continental competitions with 58 goal contributions, comprising 31 goals and 27 assists. In a recent match against Al-Khaleej, he created four goals—a club record for assists in a single fixture.
