Speaking to German media, Dreesen rejected claims that the 22-year-old was available, describing the rumours as entirely fabricated and reaffirming Bayern's commitment to retaining their promising talent.
"This simply was not true," Dreesen stated bluntly. "We had no offer on the table. And we always said that we were not interested." He emphasised Olise's critical importance to the squad: "Olise is extremely important for this team. He is a magician on the pitch." The winger, who joined Bayern in 2023 from Crystal Palace, has become a focal point of the club's attacking approach, combining technical brilliance with creative output that has drawn admiration from across Europe's elite.
Contract Extension Uncertainty
However, Dreesen tempered optimism about extending Olise's long-term future beyond his current deal. The executive acknowledged that securing permanent retention involves complex negotiations: "Making promises in this area is complicated. And whether we will be able to keep him permanently is something we will discuss again in the summer." The England international's renewal negotiations appear to be progressing smoothly, with both parties aligned on fundamental goals. "Our relationship is calm.
