Abdukodir Khusanov has committed his future to Manchester City by signing a contract extension through 2031, with an additional year option included. Signed from RC Lens for £33.5 million in January 2025, Khusanov made 37 appearances across all competitions last season despite an initial difficult debut against Chelsea. The young defender started both the Carabao Cup and FA Cup finals at Wembley and delivered a standout performance against Real Madrid in the Champions League, proving his readiness for elite competition.
Speaking about his extension, Khusanov expressed his determination to succeed under Maresca's leadership. "I am really happy to extend my stay at City.
