Alessandro Bastoni will not be leaving Inter Milan for Saudi Arabia, according to his representative Tullio Tinti. The agent dismissed speculation linking the Italian centre-back to Al-Hilal, emphasizing his client's deep commitment to the Nerazzurri despite the Saudi club's aggressive summer recruitment drive.
Tinti stated clearly to Sky Sport Italia: "He has two years left on his contract, he is a big Inter fan and he loves this club, and today he is not thinking about joining any other team." The agent stressed that respect for contractual obligations remains paramount for players in his stable. While acknowledging that negotiations could theoretically occur if a suitable offer materialized, Tinti indicated such circumstances remain distant. "All these conversations are still not enough to conduct real negotiations," he explained.
A Defender's Sense of Responsibility
At 27 years old, Bastoni has become a cornerstone of Inter's defensive architecture. The versatile left-sided defender has accumulated 298 appearances across all competitions for the Milan club, winning three Serie A titles, three Coppa Italia trophies, and three Italian Super Cup crowns. His development under previous coach Simone Inzaghi—now manager at Al-Hilal—made the Saudi outfit's interest logical, though ultimately unsuccessful.
