Martinez, who won the World Cup with Argentina, remains tied to Villa Park on a contract running until 2029 with annual wages of €7 million. Aston Villa's valuation of €10–15 million exceeds Juventus's spending capacity, forcing the Turin club to pursue a patient approach.
