Colin Dagba Joins Carrarese: Former PSG Full-Back Signs

Colin Dagba has completed a move to Carrarese, bolstering the Italian club's defensive ranks with a defender who brings substantial European pedigree. The French full-back has signed a contract running until 30 June 2028, complete with an optional extension subject to performance clauses that could extend his stay further.

PSG Youth Success and Trophy Haul

Dagba emerged through Paris Saint-Germain's renowned academy system after joining the youth ranks in 2016, eventually graduating to the first team where he established himself as a reliable left-back option. Across four seasons at the Parc des Princes, he made 77 appearances, including seven continental outings in the Champions League and 55 league fixtures. His time in the French capital proved phenomenally successful on the trophy front, with the defender accumulating three Ligue 1 titles, two Coupe de France winners' medals, a Coupe de la Ligue triumph and two French Super Cup victories.

International recognition came at youth level, where Dagba represented France Under-21 on 16 occasions, scoring once and participating in both the 2019 and 2021 European Championships at that tier of competition.

Post-PSG Career Path

Following his departure from Paris, Dagba pursued a career trajectory across multiple leagues to gain consistent playing time. The defender featured in 21 Ligue 1 matches during a 2022-23 loan spell with Strasbourg, subsequently made a permanent transfer to Auxerre where he won promotion via the Ligue 2 title in 2023-24, and most recently competed in Belgian football with Beerschot. This well-rounded experience across French leagues and international football positions Dagba as an experienced addition to Carrarese's backline as the club pushes for promotion from Serie B.
