Talisca Leaves Fenerbahce, Signs Two-Year Al-Jazira Deal

Anderson Talisca has terminated his contract with Fenerbahce by mutual agreement, ending his brief spell at the Turkish club after just one season. The Brazilian forward, who arrived during the 2024-25 mid-season window, departs Istanbul after struggling to establish himself in Süper Lig action. Fenerbahce confirmed the separation on social media, wishing the 31-year-old well as he pursues his next challenge.

The forward has already secured his next destination, agreeing to join Al-Jazira of the United Arab Emirates on a substantial contract. According to transfer specialist Resat Can Ozbudak, Talisca will sign a two-year deal with the UAE Pro League side, with an option for a third season. His financial package includes an annual salary exceeding €10 million, reflecting Al-Jazira's ambition to bolster their attacking options.

Reunion with Malcom in the Gulf

The move reunites Talisca with fellow Brazilian Malcom, who currently plays for Al-Jazira following his stint at Al-Hilal. Both players represent a continued trend of experienced talent moving to the Gulf region, where lucrative contracts and competitive football attract seasoned professionals. Talisca's previous experience in Saudi Arabia with Al-Nassr, where he developed into a consistent goal-scorer, positions him well for success in the region.

Final formalities remain before the transfer is officially sealed. The Brazilian must pass his medical examination and complete contract documentation with Al-Jazira. Once those procedural steps conclude, Talisca will be available to make his debut for his new club in the coming weeks, adding depth to their attacking roster as the UAE Pro League enters its crucial mid-season phase.
