The 21-year-old international joined United from Lecce in February 2025 and has made 50 appearances across all competitions, contributing four goals and five assists. Though previously deployed as a wing-back under former manager Ruben Amorim, Dorgu's versatility has caught Carrick's attention as United balance Premier League and Champions League commitments. "He can certainly play there," Carrick confirmed when asked about Dorgu's suitability at left-back. "He has done, without doubt. It's just the way we've been since I've been here."
